2011 has kicked off in a big way finacially for the Hornets

with sponsorship at record levels.

Cabra-Vale Diggers have agreed to be our main jersey sponsors for the 4th year running.Cabra-Vale Diggers are a famous establishment and are very generous to our club,I urge all parents and supporters to join Cabra-Vale ,it is only $5 to join and you get a $20 birthday voucher every year (how good is that).

The Valley Plaza is again our front logo sponsor.

The plaza have been our longest sponsor and I can't remember their name not being associated with our club.

One of our great good furtunes is to have the shopping centre as our neighbors

it is very handy for parents to shop and for us to pick up things on game day,

I know I don't have to urge our parents to shop at the Plaza because I know they already do.

John from the Golden Shell Seafood is going to sponsor our back of training shirts.

This is Johns first association with our club and we welcome his genorosity.

The Golden Shell is famous around our way for great food and I know my family is a regular customer.

We have 2 sleeve sponsors for our shirts in Ray White Real Estate Valley Plaza.Great to have you own board.

Trivest

Has agreed to sponsor again in 2011

James and Scott Air Conditioning have agreed to sponsor the other sleeve.

3 Hornets make Norths S.G.Ball team

     Congratulations to Omar,Jay and Warrick

on making the Norths team. The Lads played their first game on Saturday the 14th of Feb 2009 and surprised the much fancied Souths team beating them easily.

Jay has impressed Norths so much they made him captain, and he certainly led from the front scoring a trademark try and making many bustling runs

Omer played strongly in the unusual position of front row and his high workrate was a contributer in a good win

Warrick had a strong attacking game at fullback and looks ready for a big season he looks to be the most dangerous player in the Norths backline

The lads are coached by former Norths legend Mark Cannon

The Hornets wish the players the best of luck for the representative season
